Bikini Top I don't have pictures of it yet but will soon. I got it at the 4WD Hardware sale event a few weeks ago. The BestTop sales rep. that was there walked over and looked at my Jeep just to make sure I was getting the right one . She said she had worked with them for 14 years and had never seen a setup like mine. Aparenyly I have a strange mix of original and aftermarket parts that she didn't think would work together. Calk another one up for ignorance. (I didn't know it was impossible so I did it anyway.)

New Spring Shackels In another attempt to firm up the steering I put some new (stiffer) shackles on the front springs. They went on easily enough but the directions specify tightening the center bolt to 75 ft/lbs. and the outside bolts to 15. The center bolt tightened down ok but when I took the outside bolts to 15 ft/lbs. the plates started to bend. So I loosened the outside bolts to something like 10 ft/lbs. We'll see how it holds. I can't really tell any difference in handling.

Nerf Bars After seeing some video of my local 4WD club (Tiretown 4 Wheelers) I decided that some Nerf bars would be a good investment. $125 later a pair of Smittybuilt Nerf bars were on the way from 4WD Hardware. The were actually pretty easy to install. The only thing was a 21/64" drill bit that I had to buy. The bars came with self tapping 3/8" screws that needed a specific hole size. Times like there are were you almost have to have a air powered impact driver. Makes short work of thing like this.
