Welding - Something every Jeep rebuilder should know how to do. And I don't. So, time to do what every web savvy guy would do. Start searching the net for info. I looked into taking a class at the local vocational school but they want $450 for a 6 week class! Outch. Think I'm just going to buy my cousin’s husband some lunch and have him show me the basics. Anyone know of a good way to learn welding that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Let me know.
On Board Air - That's the next upgrade in the works. I've been discussing it with a friend and I think I'm going to find an old York a/c compressor and mount it under the hood. Then wire up a switch to turn the magnetic clutch on and off and finally just mount a pressure relief and quick disconnect fitting to the output. I've seen this work great for inflating tires and simple things like that. No need for a tank, at least not for now. I'll keep you posted on the progress. I've ordered the pressure relief valve and should see it in a few days. Now to find an old York somewhere.
