Finally gave up on finding a mounting bracket for the York. I have drawings made up for making my own bracket. Just need to get a couple of piecs of 1/4" plate steel. Cut them to size with the sawzall and then off to the local welding shop to get them joined. (Really need to learn to weld... [see 1/28/03 post for more info on that topic]) I'll post the drawings as soon as I verify that they are correct.

Got My York Compressor - Picked it up at a local Volvo junkyard for $20, gotta like that. Ten minutes with a wire-wheel and it looks almost new. Next step is to try to find a mounting bracket for it. They exist but are a bit scarce from what I am learning. I may have fabricate my one. I can do it, but it would be *so* much easier to just bolt on an existing one. I've already called around to 5 different junk-yards... er... Automotive Recyclers (They are a little touchy about the 'junk' thing.) and have only turned up one 'maybe.' I'll let you know what I find out.
